It's a new era for the legendary Barlow family on Coronation Street - as Ken’s missing son Daniel Osbourne and grandson Adam returned to the cobbles last night.
Ken, who recently suffered a stroke, is was refusing to see his children Tracy and Peter Barlow in hospital but they're still not listening to their old man. Barging her way into the ward, Tracy went off on one when Daniel tried to visit Ken - convincing everyone that he 'must be from a cult'.
"You should be ashamed of yourself preying on an old man like this.
"Look at him, he’s obviously from a cult."
Peter told him: "Thanks for all your help, OK, but we're his family."
And then in a scolding reply to Peter trying to kick him out, Daniel said:
"So am I. I'm Daniel, I'm Ken's son."
Boooooom!
Elsewhere, Adam Barlow (who came all the way from Canada) drove onto the Street in a swanky jag and immediately heads into the factory. Helping himself to a drink, he is then thrown out by Aidan and Johnny and made an attempt to flirt with Eva Price.
Coronation Street bosses are promising huge storylines for the brand new Barlow boys, with a lot of drama coming our way!
"The Barlows have been at the centre of Coronation Street since it started in 1960 and I felt it was time to remind ourselves of the dynasty that Ken has built up over the past 50 years," said executive producer Kate Oates.
"I am excited about the dynamics of having the different generations living together and exploring the drama that will bring."
We can’t wait to see what they will bring to the Barlow family – there will definitely be sparks!
