Celebrity Big Brother is back on our screens tonight (Monday 7 April 2025) and as we're now living in a world where it's too expensive to go outside, thank goodness we now have an excuse to be utterly anti-social. The series will air on ITV every night for the next three weeks (well, technically we've heard 19 days, but we'll take it) and from the looks of the rumoured line-up it's set to be one of the best yet.
And, let's be honest, after keeping us entertained for 14 years (YEP), that's pretty f**king good going for any reality show (sorry, please do not swear); from celeb feuds to ferocious fights to unexpected romances to Jedward getting a vajazzle, Celebrity Big Brother hasn't failed us since the day it launched on 9 May 2001 and that's almost 100 percent down to the chaos.
But, seriously, friends and family – don't call us, we'll call you. In May.

When Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas were play fighting no one was quite prepared when the former Emmerdale actor claimed that he punched her hard in the ribs. She was quick to tell the rest of the housemates, ask Big Brother why Ryan wasn't removed from the house and branded him 'a liar', 'manipulative' and 'calculating'. During a subsequent eviction, the CBB crowd were chanting for Roxanne to leave and shortly after she quit the show. That didn't stop the nation from being furious and Ofcom received over 11,000 complaints. She's since apologised for her actions but Ryan's brother Adam slammed her apology and so did the Corrie star's girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh.
