During an argument on Celebrity Big Brother, Perez, 36, told 33-year-old Calum that he would ‘be the huge d*** and I will shove it up your a*se’.

Now Angie has blasted Perez. Speaking to The Sun, she said: “My first feeling was I was disgusted, but the poor boy is in love with Calum.

“It’s not real life on the show, he’s shouting his mouth off. I just can’t take Perez seriously at all.”

Taking a swipe at controversial Perez, Angie added: “He’s had 27 plastic surgeries, lost hundreds of pounds all to look good and, sorry babes, but it hasn’t worked. The sad part is he’s a parent.”

George Best’s ex-wife also revealed that there was a period when she thought Calum would ‘drink himself to death’.

Proud mum Angie opened up about Calum's struggle to deal with dad George's death

Following George’s death, after suffering multiple organ failure, Angie feared the worst for their son.

She said: “He chose to deal with that the only way he knew how – drinking. He never viewed himself as an alcoholic but I told him if he carried on with his lifestyle, with that much alcohol every night, then eventually he would not be able to come back from it.

“Every day I feared the call would come, that he would hurt himself.

“It was a dreadful time and I’m so proud of him for having the strength and character to walk away from the situation a better man.”
