Those watching series 17 of The Real Housewives of Cheshire can vouch for us when we say that 'Hurricane' Paige Chohan has been somewhat downgraded from the category five hurricane she was in series 16. Since revealing that her and husband Amir were expecting their first child together at the beginning of the latest series, Paige has been bringing sunny days and the occasional rainstorm to the series, and we have to say it's lovely to see this side of her.

Not that part of us doesn't miss the telly queen that almost blew the roof off the reunion – and show frenemy Rachel Lugo – last year. But we know she's in there, waiting to cause a storm if needed...

Those layers are part of what makes the new full-time Housewife such great telly, and in a recent exclusive chat with Closer online she revealed she will be seriously delivering for fans of the show come episode ten. And we mean that literally.

It was recently reported that Paige and husband Amir had chosen to let RHOCheshire film scenes hours before and after the birth, and fans will be able to watch baby Nora's arrival come episode ten. And here's the real gag – our Paige is yet to see the footage.

She revealed, "I've actually not seen the footage. I've not seen episode 10. So I'm really excited to see how it all looks on camera.

"It happened all so fast. I really don't remember the film crew or anything because I was in the moment of all the pain, and just trying to get Nora out. But yeah, you'll definitely get to see something really special."

Speaking about why she chose to film these intimate moments for the ITVBe series, Paige told Closer online that she wanted a "memory" of Nora being born; something to "look back on when she's older." And while Paige was more than happy to document Nora's arrival into the world, she admitted that people thought she was "crazy" for agreeing to it.

Paige continued, "I think because we filmed so much about the pregnancy and about our life, I thought it just seemed natural to showcase the end of it really, of Nora being being born. And I also wanted my own memory. I think seeing my last few months of pregnancy, to see Nora being born and actually seeing Nora on the screen is for me to look back on when she's older. I just really wanted that because who can say they have all that together in one video. So that is something that pushed me to want to do it.

"I mean, people thought I was crazy. My parents were like, 'No, why are you doing that?' but I just didn't see it that way. I just looked past the national TV part. And I just see, well, this is gonna be great for the future. And I really want to have that documented."

While we've got a couple of weeks to wait to see the episode in question, Paige did also confirm some exciting news for fans of the series; that series 17 will be slightly longer than normal series. While past seasons are made of ten or 11 episodes, the current series will gift fans with twelve glorious episodes.

Paige joined the series in 2023 as a guest and friend of Seema Malhotra (who has always vouched for Paige), where she soon came to blows with the likes of Rachel Lugo and former Housewife Hannah Kinsella. She was made a full-time cast member ahead of series 17, which has followed her pregnancy with baby Nora.

As well as being a full-time mum and iconic reality star, Paige is also co-founder and CEO of acrylic nail supplier Bexy Glow and owner of Chester-based nail salon, Nailbox.
