We knew that series 18 of The Real Housewives of Cheshire was going to give us something extra (it's the ten-year anniversary series after all).
In addition to a shocking break-up, the return of a series one OG, a hen party, a girls' trip to Thailand and a 50th birthday bash (series legend Rachel Lugo turns 50 this week), we can now add some exciting baby news to the list as new queen Eleanor Egar has announced that she is expecting her first child with partner Chris Lewis, five months after announcing her engagement.
Eleanor made the announcement on her Instagram grid over the Valentine's weekend, sharing a stunning snap of her and Chris looking all kinds of loved up in Venice. The influencer and her fiancé can be seen kissing while holding up a faux newspaper called The New Baby Times, with a front page headline that reads, 'Baby Lewis is on the way. Due July 2025.'
The Housewife captioned her announcement post, 'Complete 👼✨.'
Naturally, her Real Housewives of Cheshire co-stars were some of the first to share their congratulations in the comments, with Lystra Adams writing, 'Huge congratulations I’m so happy for you guys ❤️❤️❤️🎉,' Rachel commenting, '👏👏👏👏😍😍,' and Paige Chohan writing, 'The best news everrrrrrr!!!! 🙌🙌🥳🥳❤️❤️❤️❤️ so happy for you and Chris xxxx.'
In a follow-up Instagram story post, fans got a glimpse of the back page of the newspaper, which revealed that Eleanor and Chris are expecting a girl. The headline reads, 'We can't wait to meet you baby girl. You've got the best big brother waiting for you,' referring to Chris's little boy from a previous relationship and Eleanor's stepson.
The news comes just days after the cast went on their second girls' trip of the series as part of Eleanor's hen party celebrations (or at least that's what we've pieced together after Rachel accidentally spilled the beans), five months after the Housewife became engaged to partner Chris. Not a bad few months for our Ellie.
The cast of The Real Housewives of Cheshire started filming series 18 – the milestone, ten-year anniversary series – back in December 2024, kicking things off with a lavish cast trip to Thailand. After a festive filming break, the cast returned to filming in and around Cheshire, and as things stand we've clocked fancy dress parties, dinner parties and the return of series one OG, Leanne Brown.
