Zara McDermott rose to fame in Love Island 2018 and coupled up and left with with Adam Collard. She went on to star in Made in Chelsea and then became the first Love Island star to appear in Strictly Come Dancing where she was coupled up with Giovanni Pernice. But she's also known for her commitment to fitness and wellness.

Here, Zara shares her top tips for the gloomiest of Januarys and beyond.

Echinacea is my travel essential…

Echinacea is my must-have if I feel the faintest tickle in my throat – it’s my first line of defence. Hydration is also key. I’m never without my oversized two-litre water bottle, even if it looks a bit extra.

I prioritise quality rest…

These days, I aim to have dinner early around 6.30pm and avoid eating too close to bedtime. A hot shower or bath about two hours before lights out helps me unwind, and I’m strict about avoiding screen time after 9pm.

Wellness starts with simplicity…

I don’t overcomplicate things. A good multivitamin or a morning Berocca sets me up for the day, and I stick to a balanced diet to keep my body happy. I’m big on gut health too, so I include kefir in my diet and make sure I’m hitting five portions of fruit and vegetables daily.

Zara is supporting Berocca’s ‘Face The Lag’ campaign, which is all about making Berocca nutritional supplements part of your daily wellness routine. Visit berocca.co.uk
