Tasha Ghouri really is one of Love Island's unequivocal success stories; after – let's face it – a somewhat rocky time in the villa itself, the Love Island 2022 finalist has gone from strength to strength as an Islander slaying the game in the outside world. Oh, and let's not forget she actually managed to find love in the villa in the form of her Love Island boyf Andrew Le Page, too – in spite of what a huge percentage of the fandom had to say about them/her. Hang your heads.
Yes, it took a while for Tasha to win the British public over on Love Island (we'd just like to say we've been huge Tasha stans since day dot SO THERE), but a year on and she has become one of the UK's biggest influencers.
Not to mention being like 12/10 on the BEAUTIFUL AF scale.
From sponsorship deals, to modelling gigs, to getting on the hottest guest-lists in the capital, Tasha is showing all Islanders past and present how it's done.
She's also done wonders as a champion for the deaf community (she was born completely deaf), which leads us nicely on to Tasha's newest job that really does "hit different" by Love Island standards.
Tasha recently took to her Instagram grid to reveal that she has been busy writing her first book (coming June 2024), which she describes as a "gorgeous summery romance about Cassie, a deaf dancer who jets off for a hot summer in Ibiza".
Hmm, sounds familiar.
Posting a picture of herself with a unpublished copy of the book, she wrote, "I’m sooo excited to introduce HITS DIFFERENT – my first ever book, written with the amazing @littlehux! It’s a gorgeous summery romance about Cassie, a deaf dancer who jets off for a hot summer in Ibiza ☀️✈️ this is a story about finding self-love and falling in love which is really based on my own personal experiences and Cassie has characteristics of me! so it’s super special and I can’t wait to share it with you all! It’s out June 2024 from @HotKeyBooks and available to pre-order now via the link in my bio or from your local bookshop 💕🧚♀️🥹☁️🫶🏼."
Well, that's our summer 2024 read sorted then.
Naturally, the Love Island alumni flocked to the comments to share their well wishes and congrats with Tasha.
Her fellow Love Island 2022 finalsit Indiyah Polack wrote, "Awww love this Tasha 🥺🥺💕💕💕💕."
While winter Love Island 2023 winner Sanam Harrinanan commented, "This is amazing, congratulations! 🙌 👏 ❤️."
Even her adorable boyf commented, "Congratulations babe xxx", which is a bit weird as no doubt he wrote that right next to her as the pair now share a flat together in east London.
Tasha took to her own comments to thank her friends and fans and remind everyone that this is "for the deaf community and representation."
