If there is one thing that everybody seems to be fascinated in the world of Love Island, it is what the hell the contestants eat.

When the Islanders are dumped, fans often quiz them about their fave food or any rules they had to follow when it came to what they ate and when.

The boys and girls being separated at dinner time, banned cheeses and takeaway down days are just a few of the random aspects of living in the Love Island villa.

When Love Island 2023 came to an end, the Islanders found themselves answering the age-old question about their favourite meal and who was the best chef out of this year's bunch.

Catherine Agbaje and Casa Amor lad Elom Ahlijah-Wilson revealed all during a chat with Closer and nobody was surprised by the outcome.

Admitting that it was Lochan Nowacki who made the best grub, the finalist clearly took the compliment on board and has started his own YouTube channel based around cooking.

His most recent video is a tutorial on how to make the infamous cheese toastie.

During the video, Lochan spoke about what his fellow Islanders enjoyed munching on in the villa and we have some serious questions for Scott van-der-Sluis.

"Scott was the one person in the villa who didn't like cheese so he was easy to accommodate for, he just always asked for a bacon sandwich," the finalist explained.

"Or white chocolate," he continued, "His diet consisted of white chocolate and bacon, bacon sandwiches."

So, what you're telling us in order to look as dashing and delicious as Scottisha we need to live off bacon and chocolate? Why do we feel like we are being lied to?

Lochan didn't specify whether or not Scott enjoys bacon and chocolate together or separately and that might seem like an obscene combo but we bet none of you though maple syrup and bacon would work or chilli and chocolate, ey? And yet, people love it.

We won't be eating white choc and bacon anytime soon but if you decide to give it a whirl let us known how gross it is, will you?
