There always seems to be one Love Island contestant who knows someone else in the world of reality TV and it's often a TOWIE star.
Last year, Tyrique Hyde took part in the dating show and not only is he pals with past Islander, Toby Aromolaran, but he also knows former TOWIE icons Chloe Brockett and Frankie Sims.
Love Island 2024 is no different, as it was revealed pretty early on that Ronnie Vint and Olivia Attwood are close, so much so that Ronnie reckons he has her to thank for his stint on the ITVBe dating show.
Now that he has been booted off the romance reality TV show – alongside Harriet Blackmore – Ronnie dropped by Closer HQ to spill the tea about his future with Harriett, his romance with Jess White and his relationship with the Love Island 2017 OG.
"My connections with Olivia are strong," Ronnie admitted. "Since she's been on [Love Island] I've had a message probably every year to do it."
If we are being honest we can't imagine Ronnie taking part in any Love Island series. Imagine this year's Love Island without Ronnie Vint.
"I just felt like this was the right time in my life to go and find someone," he went on. "That's why I did it."
Ronnie previously revealed just how close he was to Olivia's husband, Bradley Dack and therefore Olivia, too.
“So obviously Brad’s my best pal,” he told us before taking part in the romance reality TV show. “He's like a brother to me and then Olivia has turned into my big little sister, I say."
We wish Olivia was OUR big sister; imagine the shoes we could borrow and how toned our abs would be from all the laughter.
"She's spoke to me about the experience I'm going to go through - not really giving me tips but just said, ‘Look, the way you are, just enjoy it'" he admitted.
"You've always got on with everyone. And that'll be more than enough to get you started on the show," he revealed. "So yeah, it's a nice relationship to have with her and Brad being my best pal.”
