EXCLUSIVE Olivia Attwood: ‘I couldn’t do OnlyFans – I’m all talk and no trousers’

Ever since she burst onto our screens in a bikini in 2017, Olivia Attwood has made a name for herself as one of Love Island’s most confident and opinionated stars.

Olivia – who counts Chris Hughes and Sam Gowland among her Love Island 2017 exes – has leveraged her reality show success into a media empire. She’s the host of hit podcast So Wrong It’s Right, presents her own documentaries about trolling, cosmetic surgery and sex work, and hosted competition show Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends.

And while Olivia, 33, has found her happily ever after outside the villa with husband Bradley Dack, 31, that hasn’t stopped her offering up her thoughts on this year’s series of All Stars on TikTok.

She’s even leapt to the defence of Ronnie Vint after he found himself in yet another love triangle with Elma Pazar and Kaz Crossley, calling him ‘one of the only straight men I can tolerate’. It makes sense – Ronnie was the best man at her 2023 wedding to fellow footballer Brad.

Now Olivia’s back on our screens for series two of docuseries Getting Filthy Rich. This time around, she’s exploring the unusual sides of sex work: including cosplay, MILFs and GILFs, and financial domination.

As she prepares for the release of her ‘most X-rated series so far’, she tells Closer about Brad’s reaction to her shows, and why she won’t be on OnlyFans any time soon.

Hi, Liv! You’re going into 2025 as one of Love Island’s biggest success stories – how does it feel?

God, do you know what, no one’s more surprised than me! I just can’t believe it, and am just really grateful, just working hard, taking every opportunity I get with both hands and trying to do a good job.

Between presenting your own documentaries, reality show and podcasting, you’ve become a real jack of all trades; how do you see them all balancing going forward?

Hosting Bad Boyfriends was the first time hosting a format like that, and we’re obviously coming back for a second series. I feel very comfortable in that space also, so I’d love to do more hosting alongside the documentaries. The two things can co-exist quite nicely.

Do you think we’ll be seeing more Love Island stars branching out and following in your footsteps?

I think I might have inspired a few of them. I hope so – who knows?

In your first series of Getting Filthy Rich, you looked into Islanders who go on OnlyFans. Why do you think they’re tempted to start those pages?

They can capitalise on already having exposure, because on OnlyFans it’s quite hard to advertise yourself. When you already have a platform, you’ve already done the hard bit to get people to know who you are and then you can sell them this content.

Could you do it yourself?

For me, I don’t think it would suit my personality. I am all talk, no trousers! I’m not a prude in a sense that I’m open minded, but I actually am quite boring in my own sex life. My followers and I would get bored very quickly.

Why do you think it’s important to show the hard sides of sex work in your docs?

I think that balance is important, because it’s very easy to say, ‘Oh, this is the easy thing to do.’ It depends what your version of easy is, isn’t it? To me, that’s not easy, to have that kind of content living on the internet forever. There’s a huge amount of money to be made, but there’s also a price to pay.

You’re back with a new series of Getting Filthy Rich; what can we expect?

It’s the most shocking and is going to create the most conversation. I was actually quite speechless filming some days. Watching a grandma webcamming was something I never thought I’d see. It’s a wild ride.

You’ve seen so much on the show – surely nothing surprises you these days?

Oh my god, that was my thought going in. I was arrogant, thinking nothing can shock me, I’ve seen so much. I was completely wrong.

How does Brad feel about it?

Brad thinks it’s insane. He thinks I’m just crazy. I ring him often after filming and say, ‘Oh my gosh, you’ll never believe what I just saw today’ and he’ll be like, ‘Whatever’.

It does sound unbelievable…

He always thinks I’m on the wind-up, and when I get the edits, I’m like, ‘Look! I told you I saw this!’ He sometimes doesn’t believe it until he sees it. When I say it out loud, some of the things sound insane. He’s always like, ‘How are you just sitting there? I couldn’t watch that in person, I’d have to leave.’ I’m like, ‘That’s why it’s my show and not yours!’
