There was something heartwarming about watching Love Island finalist Nicole Samuel get completely in her own head about boyfriend Ciaran Davies' antics (remember 'WHO'S EMMA?' - of course you do) during Casa Amor week, while in reality, he's sat over in the other villa twiddling his thumbs just waiting for her to come back.
In fact, according to the Love Island 2024 star he was climbing the walls without Nicole by his side.
He exclusively told Closer online, "Casa Amor for me, I was just bored. Literally all the boys seemed to be open apart from Joey [Essex] [and me], so that's all me and Joey could do, just talk about what's going on. We literally just used the coffee maker and the pizza maker and that's all we did. I started doing laps around the garden, getting my steps in, developed a six-minute workout routine just to kill the time. I was just bored."
As fun as it is to watch temptation spice up villa dynamics during Casa week, watching these two constantly thinking about each other was giving rom com.
However, while Ciaran stayed cool, collected and, well, bored in Casa, Nicole's imagination was doing cartwheels and during a sit-down with Closer online, the finalist admitted that Casa Amor was not a bit of her.
The Welsh firecracker explained, "Do you know what? Casa Amor obviously wasn't my best moment in the show. People seem to forget that we don't know what's going on in each villa, so I'm over there thinking the worst; you'd be lying if you weren't thinking the worst of your partner. You automatically think, 'he's doing something', or 'something's happened'."
Fans will remember that Nicole was constantly trying to zoom in and take photos of the main villa from Casa Amor in a bid to a monitor Ciaran. She told us, "So, when I went to Casa Amor, I had three phones confiscated off me because I took 107 photos in three minutes. They called me into the Beach Hut and they were like, ‘Nicole, seriously now’."
But all that anxiety faded away when she returned to the main villa and laid eyes on Ciaran standing there alone.
She continued, "When I came back I felt like all of the worries just went straight away. Seeing him standing there and being told – because I don't see it – about the way he acted in Casa, apparently so, so good... after it I felt amazing. But at the time I was like, 'What is going on over there?' But that's just natural; you put somebody in an environment, knowing that there are six single girls, you're automatically thinking the worst."
And who could really blame her? Yes, we all know Ciaran is a good guy, but Casa doesn't exactly have a good track record when it comes to male Islanders resisting temptation, does it?
WATCH: How CUTE are these two?!
