As we inch closer and closer to the finale, more couples stand the risk of being dumped from the Love Island villa.

One Love Island 2023 couple who were sent packing despite their strong connection was Leah Taylor and Montel McKenzie.

The duo recently sat down with Closer to reveal their Love Island Secrets and one of which had us shocked.

When asked who the most annoying Islander was, Leah was quick to name Sammy Root, which, honestly, since seeing the video of him sleep-talking, we understand.

However, Montel’s answer surprised us, as he named an Islander who viewers have grown to love - Tyrique Hyde.

He revealed, “I’d have to say Ty, just because he’s so annoying.

"I love him, but he’s so annoying all day every day, he’s just non-stop energy. He’d always play games, take my stuff, like yeah, the worst."

This statement makes more sense when we heard that Montel also named Ty as the Islander he was closest with.

“I was closest to probably Ty, Zach, Sammy. Closest to Ty though, out of everyone," he admitted.

"I think because we’re from the same area and we kind of knew each other going in, we just had a lot in common.”

We’re guessing that Montel’s annoyance with Ty is more like sibling rivalry rather than full blown enemy territory.

Montel and Leah also opened up about what's next in their romance and she admitted, "I think we're just going to continue how we was doing anyway and see what happens."

Well, that's good news because pair certainly had their ups and downs in the villa, namely Montel not staying loyal during his time at Casa Amor followed by an explosive Movie Night.

However, despite their issues, Leah and Montel found their way back to each other and after a public apology from Montel, the public was on their side again.

That is, until they were dumped from the villa as the result of a public vote and like Kady McDermott, our jaws were on the floor.
