Our YouTube series Love Island Secrets is truly free Love Island 2023 therapy for us.
To work at Closer you have to be pretty passionate about shows like Love Island (scarily so, in fact), which can get quite emotionally heavy considering it's literally on every day for the whole summer and we spend all day every day writing about it, so getting to unleash our hardcore, unhinged fan emotions on one or two dumped Islanders every week is, honestly, SO good for our overall wellbeing, and frankly, quite the job perk.
This week's therapists, sorry, dumped Islanders, were André Furtado and Charlotte Sumner, who we have to say were a breath of fresh air in our lovely air-conditioned studio. The Islanders were dumped from the villa earlier this week following an absolutely brutal public vote and have only just touched down in the UK.
The pair had no problem flooding our studio with a venti-sized teaspill and we can only apologise to the cleaners.
The biggest spillage came when we asked them to reveal the couple they believe to be the most incompatible. We totally stole Maya's idea, but it was a good one and caused some serious drama.
Charlotte responded, shining a damning spotlight on villa lovebirds Zach Noble and Molly Marsh - which we have to say majorly threw us.
Charlotte spilled, "I would say, personally, Zach and Molly. Like, I see they're together a lot, but I don't really see them vibing and having good, decent conversations, but that's just from what I've seen. I don't really see them speaking or laughing together, but yeah, that's just what I've seen and what I've witnessed."
Andre added, "I'd say that as well, to be honest. I'd say Zach and Molly, or, unfortunately, Mitch and Leah."
Phwoar. 'I don't really see them speaking or laughing together?' The savagery.
We have to say, these two have given us a lot to think about re Molly and Zach, and as such we'll be watching their first date tonight with eagle eyes. Does this coupling have legs? We hope so because they're going rollerskating on their date tonight.
See.
Until next week 🙏.
