Love Island producers usually have a trick up their sleeves when they send the Islanders to the beach club, and this series was no exception as Maya Jama turned up for a surprise double dumping.
Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda received the least backing in a public vote for the most compatible couple, and they were booted out of the villa.
And it’s not just viewers who think Olivia and Maxwell are the least compatible couple as dumped Islander Martin Akinola has hinted he’s not 100 per cent sure Olivia’s intentions are genuine.
Martin, who became pals with Maxwell when they entered Casa Amor together, opened up during a recent appearance on Closer’s Love Island Secrets when asked if he thought of all the Islanders were in the villa for love.
“I’m not going to say anything, but I feel like a lot of them are playing a game,” he told us.
“I’m not going to mention any names, but they know who they are.”
Hang on, there's more.
So, who does Martin think IS in the villa for love?
“Kai [Fagan] and Max,” he added.
But when asked if he thought Maxwell had found true love with Olivia, Martin shadily replied, “No comment.”
Hmm, could Olivia be one of those gameplayers he was referring to?
Olivia and Maxwell’s dumping came shortly after they made their relationship exclusive at the beach club.
After being told they were going home, Olivia told Maya, “It’s sad to leave these guys but I found what I’m looking for so I’m happy to be leaving with him.”
Olivia had been coupled up with four different fellas before meeting Maxwell in Casa Amor, so let’s hope it’s fifth time lucky for the Brighton-based actor.
