We just adore when the Love Island contestants leave the villa and spend the next few weeks or so revealing secrets they most certainly aren't supposed to.
Love Island 2023 lad Maxwell Samuda was a guest on the Murad Merali podcast and he went and did just that.
Of course Maxwell was quizzed about what the hell happened between him and Olivia Hawkins as the couple announced that they'd split last month but he also revealed a few sneaky secrets he was a part of.
The Casa Amorbombshell admitted that during his stay in South Africa, before he entered the villa, he snuck out of the place he was staying at to have himself a cheeky drink.
“I haven’t told anyone this," he admitted, "the night before I went in to Casa Amor I was lucky enough to go out and have a beer - I wasn’t supposed to.”
For some reason Casa Amor bombshell Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo was also present during Maxwell's chat with Murad, although she didn't appear on the podcast or on video, she just supplied to duo with baked goods which is truly iconic behaviour.
When Maxwell revealed he went and got drunk the day before he was entering the villa you can hear Cynthia pipe up in the background, "WHAT?"
Clearly Cynthia has the same mindset as we do, everybody knows the Islanders must follow a strict protocol but it looks as though Maxwell did his own thing.
"I was in the city centre," he continued, "I went and had the sickest time. When I tell you I got drunk at this event. I met so many sick people."
Maxwell admitted that people were quizzing him about being in Cape Town, luckily he managed to keep that a secret and not spill the beans about being a Love Island bombshell.
"I woke up the next day, hanging, and I thought how on earth am I going to do this today?" he explained referencing the fact he was heading to the villa that very morning.
“I was feeling twisted," he added but ultimately Maxwell has no regrets, "I think it took the pressure off as well.”

Maxwell found himself caught up in the drama but Kai and Sanam went on to win the show and Liv and Max left the show as a couple so it wasn't all bad.
A week or so after being booted off, Maxwell and Liv went their separate ways but Maxwell made it clear there was no bad blood between them.
Chatting on the Murad Merali podcast, Maxwell said that once leaving South Africa it was "a different environment".
He added, "All that you have to focus on, in that period of time, is each other."
The bombshell went on to admit that he wasn't sure the relationship had "longevity".
