Marcel and Gabby split in May 2018 amid reports that she dumped him after he cheated on her while they were on holiday together. It was claimed that he kissed another woman in front of other holidaymakers and later slept with her after rowing with Gabby on their trip to Mexico.

'It was during the Covid lockdown. I started feeling really tired and really ill, and I was going to the toilet like five to six times a night.
'I was thinking to myself, "What's going on? I don't really understand. I don't know why I'm going to the toilet so much,"' he said on Boots' Taboo Talk podcast.
He then rang the doctors and went for a blood test but the following day he started vomiting and then he passed out.
When he woke up in the hospital - after his wife rang the ambulance - he was told that he was diabetic.
'I didn't know what diabetes was. I had no clue what came with it. And then when the doctor started explaining it all to me, he was like, 'Your life is going to change now, you're going to have to start making some changes."'
