Love Island bombshell Abi Rawlings has exclusively opened up to Closer about her time in the villa and exposed the unaired Faye Winter scenes.

During Closer's Love Island Secrets we asked Aaron Francis, Clarisse Juliette and Abi which Islander they're good friends with and the latter revealed it's two of the OG stars.

"The people I will stay closest to is tied between Kaz and Faye. Faye was like my day dot when I got in so I'll always hold her close to my heart and then Kazzy came up and we become [tight]."

She then opened up about her friendship with Faye and admitted the way she's been portrayed on TV is slightly different to the way she is in the villa.

"I really liked Faye. From rewatching it, you guys only see the worst parts of her.

"But the best part... She's the first to help you do sh-t, or she'll be like 'Let's do you hair girl', she was the first to offer out her clothes.

"She's got such a big heart but not a lot of that is portrayed unfortunately," she explained.

Even Casa Amor bombshell Clarisse added, "Faye is proper nice".

Abi then revealed why she thinks Faye reacted the way she did, after discovering some of her fellow Islanders voted for her and Teddy Soares as one of the least compatible couples in the villa.

"She prides herself as a really good friend which she is.

"So I think for her she would have found it hard, a sh-t pill to swallow because she probably wouldn't have wanted to see them as friends, especially if they can't say it to her face because she's such a up straight and honest person."

Abi added, "I think she just struggles when people don't give her the same energy back."

Faye's definitely had a rocky time in the villa, after she saw a photo of Teddy kissing Clarisse in a game she quickly moved on with Sam Jackson, but was left stunned when she found out the postcard had misled her.

Just when all seemed well with Faye and Teddy, producers introduced the Mad Movies challenge that resulted in Faye shouting at Teddy, Casa Amor bombshell Matthew MacNabb and even Dale Mehmet for the majority of the hour long episode.

Following the explosive episode Ofcom received a record numberof 24,763 complaints from viewers.

Things have changed again though because both Teddy and Faye have put the past behind them and are now in an official relationship.
