You would think that this year's batch of Love Island contestants would know all the rules and regs of the dating show by now, seeing as they have done it all before, but it turns out that's not the case.

We haven't even taken part in the romance reality TV show and we are well aware of what is a big YES and what is a HELL NO when it comes to playing this love game.

For example; neon white veneers and pulling each other for chats are a big yes, whereas sneaking to where there are no cameras and getting drunk are both strong nos.

However, it turns out that some of the recently dumped All Stars have forgotten one of the fundamental rules when it comes to the dating show.

Liberty Poole and Hannah Elizabeth recently swung by Closer HQ for a chat about their time on Love Island and revealed why they were told off by producers.

In Hannah's defence, it has been eight years since she was first on Love Island, so we can appreciate that it is basically a whole new show now, Liberty, however has no excuse.

"Me and Han, we were getting our nails done in the villa and I was chatting," Liberty revealed, "You know like when you're getting your nails done with the nail technician and we were having a goss?"

Of course we do, we love having a natter about our latest Hinge horror story as we decide whether we want our nails painted peach melba or peach dream.

"They did make us redo that chat because they can't film us getting our nails done on the show," Liberty confessed and sorry but how have the girlies not learnt by now that everything juicy MUST BE FILMED.

Liberty was an OG Islander back in 2021 and was on the Love Island Games last year as well, therefore not only has she done it twice but she was taking part in it less than a year ago.

"If we started chatting about the boys, [producers would] just shout at us right away, 'Stop the chat! Change the chat!'"

This is one of the few times us viewers are glad for the producers involvement; we don't want to miss any secrets been spilled because Liberty forgot she was on a dating show and not just at her local nail salon having a gossip.

Sorry Lib, we're with the ITV bosses on this one.
