Love Island’s Laura Anderson is officially off the market, as she’s just gone public with her new boyfriend.
Laura split from Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy, the father of her daughter Bonnie, last year after a tumultuous whirlwind romance, but it seems she’s found love once again with Scottish Premiership footballer Clark Robertson.
The couple went Instagram official at the end of last week when Laura shared a series of loved-up snaps with her 1.5million followers. She kept the caption simple, writing, ‘Happy Friday 💙.’
Although she didn’t address her new relationship in the caption, Laura’s friends and fans were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section.
Vicky Pattinson, who recently tied the knot with Ercan Ramadan, wrote, ‘Awww so happy for you babe,’ with Love Island 2015’s Cally Jane Beech adding, ‘Love this for u.’
Another of Laura’s followers added, ‘He looks like a good man,’ while one more said, ‘You look so good together!’
Now, we can't be the only ones who've noticed that Clark bears more than a passing resemblance to Laura's model ex Paul Knops, who she split from shortly after they left the Love Island villa. From the dark locks to the rugged stubble, it's uncanny.
Laura has yet to reveal how she met her new man, who plays for Dundee, or how how long they’ve been dating, but it’s thought that she has been single since splitting from Gary for good last year.
The Love Islander met the father of her child when they appeared on Celebs Go Dating together in 2022. They found out they were expecting their daughter after just a few months of dating but split shortly before Laura announced she was pregnant.
Although they gave things another shot, it wasn’t meant to be. Speaking about Gary to Closer last year, Laura said, ‘It's early days, but I'm trying to focus on her, rather than myself. I think putting your personal feelings aside and speaking to the person as a friend rather than your ex helps.
‘It's going to be a journey as she's only a baby and this is all new to me, but I try to include Gary as much as I can. She has two parents and I want her to know that I always put her first.’
Back in June, Laura claimed Gary hadn’t seen Bonnie since the start of the year when one of her followers asked her during an Instagram Q&A. She responded, ‘No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others x.’
