There is always one contestant on Love Island who is presented to the public in a way that leaves their fellow villa mates confused.

Sometimes they've been shown to be reserved and shy when, in reality, they've been a gobby little so and so. Or perhaps they've come across as a player when in reality they are chill AF.

Apparently, this year's award for 'Love Island 2024's Most Misrepresented Islander,' goes to Jess White, according to some recently dumped Islanders that is.

As soon as Konnor Ewudzi and Lolly Hart were booted out of the Spanish villa we managed to catch up with them and have a good old natter about their short but sweet Love Island experience and they revealed all...

It turns out that Konnor is more than confused about the way Jess was portrayed on the dating show and was happy to tell us why.

“I love Jess and I know she’s kind of been painted out to be this villain, and again you’re only seeing 45 minutes of a day, of 24 hours, and I thought she was amazing," Konnor revealed.

Several former Love Island stars have blamed ‘the villain edit’ for the backlash they have received after their time on the romance reality TV show ended, including Olivia Hawkins and Coco Lodge.

Some make light of the title, like Liv and Coco creating that iconic TikTok, with some even relishing it; wearing the crown with pride, like ‘Messy’ Mitch Taylor who has practically made a career out of being a troublemaker.

“Coming out and hearing that I was like, really?” Konnor went on, “But I can understand from movie night, when a clip came up and it was like the... I guess you could say the bitchier side of things, but she’s not really like that.”

Seeing as he may well be one of the nicest guys we have ever come across we can't help but believe Konnor on this one.

“I didn’t get to meet Jess but from what I’ve heard, all the villa producers loved her and the Islanders love her,” Lolly added. “Obviously, I saw a lot of stuff before I went in that was really nasty about her, so I was actually shocked to hear that she was really nice.”
