It’s been a good few months since we last wrote about Love Island’s Jake Cornish.
He returned for All Stars series one but after the public forced Jake and Liberty Poole to recouple after their disastrous relationship on Love Island 2021, he quit the villa after 72 hours.
He's kept a fairly low profile since his second stint in the villa but after scrolling through Instagram this week, we did a double take when we saw Jake's latest photo because long gone is his hair and HELLO buzzcut.
Jake posted a photo of himself wearing a blue suit at a boujee bar and he captioned the photo, ‘Christmas work do 🥂🪩🎄.’
Lots of his followers rushed to comment with one person writing, ‘Oh wow look at you 😍.’
Someone else said, ‘Very classy my guy 🔥.’
Another commented, ‘My brother looking dapper as usual !👏🏻.’
A fourth added, ‘Looking hot 🔥.’
Jake’s transformation (aka him cutting his hair off) comes after he quit Love Island for the second time. Cast your mind back to series seven and you'll remember that he left the villa after Liberty broke up with him.
He then quit during All Stars 2024 and at the time he said, ‘After a few amazing days in the villa, I’ve made the decision to leave Love Island All Stars I’ve realised that now isn’t the right time for me to find love as I would never want to force a connection.
‘I have no regrets whatsoever as I’m so glad I got to enjoy my time in the villa reuniting with some familiar faces as well finally getting an opportunity to clear the air with Liberty.’
Jake leaving the show a second time came shortly after he spoke about being ‘done dirty’ the first time round.
At the time he said, 'When I came out last time, it was a case of, “Mate, they did you dirty on there”, and now I look at it and go, “If they want to do me dirty, that’s absolutely fine.”
‘It is what it is. There’s not a lot I can do about it. It’s out of my hands, I’m out of control of it.’
