When it comes to Love Island there are always a few things we spend way too much time pondering; what happens when they're not filming? How do they all share ONE shower? What really happens in the Hideaway? What do they eat?

It is these type of questions we ask Islanders when they swing by Closer HQ after being dumped because we are serious, hardworking journalists and knowing how dirty the villa bathroom is gives us life..
With that in mind, when India Reynolds was booted out of the All Stars villa – after Tina Stinnes snatched Scott Thomas from her manicured hands – we simply had to ask her what it was like to be a vegan queen in the carnivore world of Love Island.
'Being vegan in the villa was actually fine,' she confessed, 'we ate really well in there, we ate really healthily.'

'I would just have my little vegan option whether it was a pasta or sometimes a kind of breaded chicken nugget thing that was vegan. The food was good.'
Vegan chicken nuggets for the win. What brand, India? Was it 'What the cluck?' or 'This isn't chicken?' Perhaps it was just regular Quorn or a supermarket own brand? Either way, get us in that villa pronto.
Despite India's rave reviews, we've heard mixed reviews when it comes to the Love Island cuisine; the likes of Liberty Poole and Hannah Elizabeth, who took part in the first season of All Stars called the food 'healthy.' However, on the other end of the scale, Demi Jones claimed it was 'tedious,' and all three of the girlies were in the villa at the same time. Go figure.

'To be honest, for me not having to cook and clean every night and every lunch time was a dream,' the plant-based princess added and that may well be the most relatable thing an Islander has said.
We feel like adulthood is fifty percent cooking and cleaning and fifty percent going to the shop because we forgot to buy whatever it is we need for cooking and cleaning.
