Almost six years after she first appeared on Love Island, Georgia Steel is definitely one of the most memorable contestants in the history of the show. We’ll never forget her “I’m loyal” catchphrase or the way she stuck up for herself when she was caught up in drama, which, let’s face it, was quite often.

During her time in the villa, Georgia rowed with love rivals Kaz Crossley and Laura Anderson as well as Ellie Brown and it sounds like her time on Love Island: All Stars could be just as explosive.

“I will always stand up for myself and I think it’s right to tell people when they’ve been a knobhead,” Georgia said ahead of her return to the show.

Another Islander who has found herself on the receiving end of Georgia’s wrath is fellow Love Island 2018 star Megan Barton-Hanson, who the Yorkshire lass called out in 2019.

When asked about Megan in an interview, Georgia previously said, “I don't have an issue with her, but I have heard her slag me off a lot. At the end of the day I just rise above it, I don't really care what people think."

She added, “I do think with some others that fame has gone to their head, I'm not gonna lie. I think there's certain individuals, and you can just see it. It's just got to their head, and it's obvious.”

Ooh, the shade of it all.

But fast forward five years and it sounds like Georgia and Megan have finally put their issues to bed amid speculation they could be set to reunite in the villa, with the latter heavily rumoured to join All Stars as a bombshell.

“I really like Megan. I think she's a great girl,” Georgia said before entering the villa for a third time (she was on Love Island Games last year, ICYMI).

“I think she's misunderstood in some ways and I think, well, hopefully if she's doing this, our friendship will really blossom.

“I really get on with Meg now. I think she's cool.”

Well, she’s certainly changed her tune.

Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 15th January on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX & STV.
