This time last week, Love Island viewers were left in shock when Casey O’Gorman entered the villa as a bombshell for the third time in two years and he immediately delivered the drama after getting into a row with Kaz Crossley when she claimed he ‘f**ked girls over’ and branded him a ‘player’.
Fans were divided, with some backing Kaz while others defended Casey and now his All Stars 2024 co-star Georgia Steel – who rose to fame on Love Island 2018 – has spoken out about the row.
Although she admitted she ‘wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole’, Georgia said she’d ‘never experienced’ Casey be a player.
She also insisted ‘we shouldn’t judge’ Casey returning to the show for a third time, exclusively telling Closer online, ‘I feel if they're in a place where they want to go back on and they feel they've got another side of themselves to maybe show, then why not? I don't think there's any harm in going back in again.
‘He definitely does bring something to the show, so why not have him in I think it'd be quite boring without him at the minute, to be honest.’
But despite having Casey’s back, Georgia admitted she doesn’t think Casey is actually interested in finding love on the show.
She continued, ‘I just don't think Casey takes it too seriously. If he meets someone, great, but I don't think that's his main goal if I'm honest.
‘I think he just wants to have a good time.’
Georgia appeared alongside Casey on the first ever series of All Stars last year, where she flirted with his bestie Tom Clare following a brief romance in the outside world.
Ultimately though, Georgia ended up in a couple with Toby Aromolaran and they finished the show in fourth place before splitting shortly after returning to the outside world.
These days, Georgia is loved up with Ipswich Town footballer Harry Clarke after they went public at the end of last year.
