If you were entering Love Island and potentially going to be locked away for eight weeks, what would you sneak into the villa? Maybe a secret mobile phone to check on the outside world? Or your favourite fake tan to top up your glow?
Well, Love Island 2023 star George Fensom, a business development executive from Bedford, has only one must-have summer essential.
If you guessed his “tanned ankles” then you miraculously guessed correctly.
When ITV producers asked George what he'd bring to the villa, he admitted, "Good vibes and high energy. I just want to make an impact in a positive way. I want to be the go-to guy.
"I’m going to bring my charm, personality, quick wit, good looks, tanned ankles and just smash it!"
Let’s hope he leaves with more than tanned ankles.
How old is George Fensom?
George is 24 years old but already feels ready to settle down.
"I’ve put myself first in relationships before and it didn’t end well, so I’m looking to focus and give 100% of my time and care to someone.
"I want to settle down, I’m getting old," he admitted.
What will George Fensom bring to the villa?
George reckons he could be the next comedian of the villa, "My dad jokes… Quick wit and banter is my bag. I’m genuinely funny too, I laugh at my own jokes.” If you don’t, who will?
"I’m the first person to bring the vibe up, I’m always dancing, I’m always the one who wants to go out. My go to dance move is what I call the Dad Dance, I’m gonna bring dad jokes and dad dancing to the villa.”
If any of the girls are entering the villa in search of a father figure, then their prayers have been answered.
However, George isn’t just going into the villa in search of banter, he’s also looking for love.
"Love Island is something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve found lust before, but now it’s time for me to find love," he added.
What is George Fensom looking for in a partner?
"Drive: I want them to be passionate about something, whether it's a job or enjoying trips to the zoo on Saturdays," he began.
"I prefer a girl who is naturally good looking, and someone who has even more banter than me - although I don't believe that's physically possible. I think those three qualities make for a perfect mix in a partner."
Does George Fensom have Instagram?
He does, and if you want to stalk him before he enters the villa, his handle is @georgefensom.
This season of Love Island will continue the social media blackout rule that began in the winter series, which means nobody can post on George’s socials while he’s in the villa looking for love.
Where can I watch Love Island?
Love Island will return to our screens on 5 June, and episodes will air every weekday and Sunday on ITV2 or you can catch up on ITVX.
