This year's Love Island has been drama drama drama and obviously we LOVE IT.

Returning bombshells, a savage dumping or two, unexpected Casa Amor recouplings and now rumours of an Islander who deserves better.

So much CHAOS.

One of the most dramatic episodes in every season and especially Love Island 2023 was Movie Night.

It didn't reach the wild levels of Love Island 2021 when Faye Winter lost her absolute sh*t but it did feature tears, tantrums and brutal but iconic one-liners.

An Islander who found some clarity during the cinematic masterpieces of Movie Night was Scott van-der-Sluis. The Welsh lad was coupled up with Catherine Agbaje before she went off gallivanting to Casa Amor and returned with someone on her arm who was most certainly NOT Scott.

Upon her return Catherine and Scott had it out across the fire pit where some seriously harsh words were spoken followed by Movie Night, where Scott watched clips of Catherine getting it on with her new beau, Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.

Naturally all hell broke loose and if it wasn't Leah Taylor giving the boys her thoughts on their questionable behaviour, it was Tyrique Hyde laughing at the lads downfall.

But when Leah made remarks about nobody fancying Scott, he didn't hold back as he replied, "You've not spoken for four weeks and now look at you. What are you piping up for now? You're not the spokesperson for the girls."

Social media went into absolute meltdown and countless memes were created but it seems that fans are concerned about how the Islanders are treating Scott.

We caught up with recently dumped Casa Amor chicas, Tink Reading and Gabby Jeffrey and asked them what the hell is going on with Scott and the other Islanders.

“Scott is a lovely boy, he’s just not as loud. He’s a bit more chilled and reserved," Tink explained.

Gabby added, “I think they take advantage of his niceness to be honest.”

It turns out Gabby might not be the only person with this mindset as the two people who went up against Scott, Catherine and Leah, found themselves brutally dumped from this villa this week.

Gabby went on to say, "I don’t even know what’s happened with Scott but he’s the nicest boy ever and he doesn’t deserve to be treated the way he’s been treated.”

Tink then added, "There wasn't any hate though. They were all boys... He wasn't sat on his own or singled out or anything. So I don't know where this whole perception has come from."

Phew.
