As if we were denied a Love Island x TOWIEcrossover, and for the first, in potentially ever, we are not exaggerating.
It turns out a certain House of Sims star wanted to take part in Love Island 2023, as in so much so she went out of her way to investigate how she could bag the role as a potential Islander.
The producers truly dropped the ball on this one.
Chatting on the most recent episode of the Not My Bagg podcast, Frankie Sims revealed she would have jumped at the opportunity to look for love on the romance reality show but was essentially told 'thanks, but no thanks'.
When Joe Baggs asked her outright, "Would you go on Love Island?" The truth came pouring out.
"I asked to go on there when this series was on," she confessed.
It's giving bombshell.
"The girl that used to be our assistant on TOWIE is also the assistant on Love Island," the middle Sims sister continued, "I messaged her, 'Do you think I could go on Love Island?'”
How was the answer not immediately yes? Everything about Frankie screams Love Island icon; she already has ties to reality TV, she's drop dead gorge and makes for fab telly but it turns out it was not to be.
"She said no," Frankie revealed.
Cue hysterical laughter from Frankie's younger sis, Demi Sims, who was also a guest and the Baggs brothers who couldn't help but say what we were all thinking.
"Imagine you as the bombshell for Tyrique [Hyde] instead of Ella [Barnes]," Joe offered up as of course Frankie and Ty share quite the past.
"I wouldn't be able to do that," Frankie admitted in reference to Ty and Ella Thomas' romance, "I wouldn't be able to get involved in that relationship, no. I'm too happy for them."
Not very bombshell behaviour from Frankie which is perhaps why the Love Island producers couldn't see her as a potential Islander, she's clearly not chaotic enough.
