For a while, this year's season of Love Island was turning into a series of Ex on the Beach.
From Grace Jackson's fling with Joey Essex being reignited, to Ronnie Vint recognising Matilda Draper; it was like some sort of summer reunion in the Spanish villa.
The plot thickened during Love Island 2024's Casa Amor week when Welsh bombshell Ellie Jackson rocked up and it was revealed that she had swapped a few DMs with Ciaran Davies.
Despite announcing early on during Casa Amor week that he was very much closed off and loved up with Nicole Samuel, that didn't stop the newbies flirting with Ciaran and throwing some kisses his way during Raunchy Races.

Anyway, it turned out that Ellie had more of a connection with Trey Norman who ended up choosing to couple with her after Casa, meaning Ciaran and Nicole could continue to be love's young Welsh dream.

Although they ended up as pals, Ellie did find herself caught up in some controversy when she told Nicole that although she was NOT one of Ciaran's 120, their chats were a little more than Ciaran previously let on.
Not to worry though, as Ciaran and Nicole stayed together through the rest of the series and ended up coming in second place, just behind Mimii Ngulube and Josh Sunday Oyinsan.

Ellie coupled up with Trey but it was a short-lived affair as the duo were dumped from the villa on Sunday 7 July. They stayed together for a grand total of 0.2 seconds once they left the dating show and are now very much NOT an item.
