If you're on top of your Love Island goss then no doubt you've already heard that Love Island 2024 hunk and runner-up Ciaran Davies has been spotted on a 'coffee date' with Welsh bombshell Ellie Jackson.
You remember her, don't you? She's the Casa girl who claimed Ciaran had been sliding into her DMs prior to the show and threw a major spanner in the works for him and Nicole Samuel. As these things often do, the drama soon blew over, and Ciaran and Nicole went on to make it to the final and date for several months away from the show.
Fast forward another few months and Ciaran and Nicole have split and reports are claiming that Ciaran and Ellie have been going on romantic coffee dates in Bridgend together.
Earlier this week, an insider told The Sun, '[Ciaran and Ellie] have recently refollowed each other on Instagram and have been getting to know each other on a more romantic level since his split with Nicole.
'They have been spotted around his local town of Bridgend together and looked cosy as they grabbed a coffee.'
Naturally, that insider has spun one serious web amongst Love Island fans, resulting in Ciaran taking to social media to address the rumours about him and Ellie once and for all. And surprise, surprise, it's all rubbish – at least according to Ciaran.
Taking to Snapchat, the Islander told his followers, 'So, I thought I'd come on here quick just to say some stuff about what I've seen. Not in the news, but in articles and stuff this morning.'
Pause right there. We're not news? Ouch, Ciaran.
He continued, 'Apparently, I've been going out on coffee dates. That's the first I've heard. If anyone does want to go on a coffee date, we'll sort something...I'm joking. But, no, I haven't been going on dates with anyone, haven't met up with anyone. It's quite funny to be honest, because I don't know where that's even come from.
'I think the last time I saw Ellie was late last year, November time? Before that, I think I've seen her about somewhere, but yeah, me and Ellie haven't been out on any coffee dates. There's no romantic or emotional thing going between us. She's a lovely girl, she's a good friend, but that's where it ends and it's the same for her as well.'
Well, that shut us up. Now just one more question, Ciaran...
