Rose Ayling-Ellis was only on EastEnders for two years - between 2020 and 2022 - but she sure did make an impact.
She had many prominent storylines, such as running over her onscreen sister and being harassed by the kids she taught at school.

Who was Rose Ayling-Ellis in EastEnders?
Rose Ayling-Ellis played the role of Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) daughter Frankie Carter. When Mick was 12 years old, he was sexually abused by his care worker Katy Lewis and she fell pregnant with Frankie.
What happened to Frankie Carter?
Frankie arrived in Walford back in 2020 and after some reluctance, she was accepted by the Carters. However, she caused a rift when it was revealed that, while being taught to drive by her sister’s fling Zack Hudson (James Farrar), she hit Nancy Carter.
She was also part of a prominent storyline about sexual harassment after boys at the school she taught at took photos of her bent over and circulated them around.
Frankie also failed to speak up when she saw boys touching Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) inappropriately.
Viewers also saw her deal with the trauma of being stalked and almost assaulted on a night out by a man named Dec (Tama Phethean), though he was never brought to justice as he fled.
Is Rose Ayling-Ellis returning to EastEnders?
Rose’s career has gone from strength to strength since she left EastEnders last year, but producers did leave it open for her to return, so it is very much a possibility.
Though she hasn’t said anything about returning just yet, she had nothing but praise for the show when she left.
She said, "It's been incredibly special to be EastEnders' first regular deaf actor, I have loved my time on the show and Frankie has been such an awesome character to play, however now feels like the right time for me to move on and I am excited and ready for new challenges.
"I will always treasure my time on the show and all the incredible people I have worked with, who have supported my growth as an actor these last two years and given me so many amazing memories. I am excited for viewers to see Frankie's exit storyline; I think it's a really important one that will hit home for lots of people."
What is Rose Ayling-Ellis doing now?
She is set to star in an upcoming ITV drama called Code of Silence about a catering worker who is struggling with money and works numerous jobs, all the while trying to support her mum who is also deaf.
She was recently in a production of As You Like It in London and she won Strictly Come Dancing 2021 alongside Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice. FYI, we still can’t get over her silent dance.
