TOWIE legend and all round Essex queen Lauren Goodger has revealed that before she burst onto our screens in The Only Way is Essex she appeared on The X Factor.
Not only that, she got through to bootcamp. DAY TWO.
Speaking during an Instagram live chat, Lauren spilled the tea on her X Factor journey in girl band Ruby Blue that also featured - wait for it - Mark Wright's sister Jess.
Remember when Mark 'managed' another of Jess' groups in the early days of TOWIE? Loool.
“It was good fun. We got through to the second day of bootcamp… Very impressive," Lauren said.
Lauren also revealed that she had a run-in with the then king of mean Simon Cowell himself.
"I’d been to Spain so I was really brown. Simon Cowell said to me, ‘Next time, will you lay off the fake tan’.
"I was like, 'Excuse me. I’m just back from Spain'."
We guess Simon didn't get Brentwood chic. And perhaps he wasn't the only one.
Revealing to OK! that the judges in her year, 2004, were Simon, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, Lauren said, “I don’t think Sharon liked us, three girls from Essex.”
And that's not the end of the 'Lauren Goodger can sing' news today.
The OG TOWIE star, who we're praying is still making music today.
"I am doing music at the minute," she said.
"I’m poppy, RnB style. Like Ashanti."
This isn't the first time Lauren's teased us with the promise of some music.
After she left the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2014, she told heat, “I will be in the studio soon doing something new, I am so excited so it will be all good.
“I’m very R&B. I don’t like house music. I write my music, it’s very like Ashanti, like Jennifer Lopez kind of stuff so it’s very current, very American.”
We can hardly wait to hear it.
