Fans of EastEnderswill recognise Tony Discipline from his stint on the show playing Tyler Moon... well actually maybe you won't. In many ways Tony looks strikingly different from his time on the show and as he has since taken up a new occupation, you'd be forgiven for not recognising the former Eastenders star.
Since leaving the show in 2013, Tony has had quite a career change.
The former EastEnders star is now a firefighter, announcing the news to his fans on Instagram back in March of 2020, much to the surprise of his followers.
Sharing a picture of himself and his mum for Mother's Day wearing his full uniform, some fans even questioned whether it was for a new acting role.
His career change was made clear later in the year when posted a picture of him dressed in uniform in front of a fire engine.
The post was met with support from former EastEnders star James Forde, who quit acting to become a builder.
He commented, "Fair play geeza good on ya! We’ve both gone back down to reality! 🤣"
Since becoming a fire fighter, Tony has gone through a body transformation leaving him almost unrecognisable as the Tyler Moon we remember from the show.
As it is a very physically demanding job that requires firefighters to be in top shape, Tony has taken this to heart and got REALLY, REALLY BUFF.
He recently shared some topless pictures showing off his dramatic body transformation on his Instagram story. He captioned one, "late night post workout plenty of timber to shift but we're still trying."

Tyler moved to Walford in 2011 with his dad Eddie Moon and his brother Anthony Moon and initially works in his dad's antique emporium. He is introduced to us as Alfie Moon's cousin. He is passionate about boxing and looked to start a career in it.
Tyler's half brother Michael manipulated Tyler into taking part in an unlicensed boxing match, setting him up with a boxer called Artie Stiller who was known to fight dirty. Whilst Tyler was able to win the fight, the beatings he took caused him to a have a seizure. He later found out that Michael had been trying to kill him by setting him up Artie. This caused a rift between the brothers, leading to Tyler growing violent towards Michael for a while.
Tyler was also known for his romantic exploits. He had a relationship with Whitney Dean although it was very much on and off. After first kissing they dated for a few days before Whitney broke things off. After this he has a casual relationship withLauren Branning, Whitney's best friend (DRAMA).
Following this Tyler confesses his love for Whitney. Despite her deciding not to go on Holiday with her boyfriend, Fatboy, she then catches Tyler kissing Lucy Beale. Despite this causing an argument between her and Tyler, they eventually put this behind them and start dating.
Things got pretty serious between the two, with them even moving in together and getting engaged. Due to infidelity and trauma from Whitney's childhood, however, things didn't work out between the two.
Tony's time on the show came to an end when Tyler was written out of the show in 2013. Tyler left the show to work on a cruise ship with Anthony and this was the last we saw of him.

The identity of the woman Tony has been dating is unknown. In 2021 he welcomed his first child with her, a daughter named Penelope Charlotte Rose Discipline. He shared the news on Instagram in a post of him holding Penelope.
