Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid has debuted a chic new hair ‘do as she returned to work this morning following her Easter break.
Like many of us across the UK, Susanna took full advantage of salons opening from the 12th April for the first time in months and rather than having just a maintenance trim, she opted for a full image overhaul by chopping four inches of the length and adding blonde highlights.
Hosting this morning alongside Adil Ray – one of a roster of presenters brought in following the sensational departure of Piers Morgan back in March – Susanna appeared upset that he hadn’t seemed to notice her new hair, saying, "You're like one of the blokes when someone comes back from the hairdressers and they don't notice the hair.
"Adil I'm so disappointed."
When her co-host insisted he was about to mention she looked "fantastic", she replied, "Well, thank you very much, it's not like I forced you to say it or anything."

Susanna Reid reveals how she is able to deal with Piers Morgan every day
Susanna has been presenting alongside a number of colleagues including Ranvir Singh and Beresford since Piers quit the show. His departure came shortly after he said he "didn’t believe" Meghan Markle’s claims during her tell-all interview with Oprah earlier this year.
Taking the helm on GMB in the aftermath of his departure, Susanna said,"He is without doubt an outspoken, challenging, opinionated, disruptive broadcaster.
"He has many critics and he has many fans. You will know that I disagreed with him about Meghan’s interview. He himself clarified his comments about her mental health on the show yesterday."
She went on to say on GMB, "There are many voices on GMB and everyone has their say. But now Piers has decided to leave the programme. Some of you may cheer and others may boo.
"He has been my presenting partner, Monday to Wednesday, for more than five years and during Brexit and the pandemic and other issues, he has been a voice for many of you and a voice that many of you have railed against.
"It is certainly going to be very different but shows go on and so on we go."
