Lots of her followers rushed to compliment her genius idea, with one person saying: "That is adorable. Ordering my son one right now!!"

Someone else commented: "Aww how cute bless them looks boss a little indoor pool. How clever fabulous idea."

Despite receiving over 2,000 comments of people gushing about the amazing idea, some people were quick to warn other parents not to use the neck float. One person wrote: "I normally love Sam but this has made me very anxious! Babies have been badly injured due to these neck rings. It's shocking that a high celebrity mother would advise such a danger or even put her own children through the risks xx"

Someone else argued: "It actually scares me how many people will go and buy these things now 😣 please research all the dangers before putting your children in these death traps, they are so unsafe!"

Another said: "@samanthafaiers do you realise how dangerous neck rings are for babies, please research them or just google!!! as they as so bad your baby!! They should be banned!!!"

One more added: "Ridiculous tbh shouldn’t be promoting such a dangerous thing"

Eek!

Last year Kyran Quinlan, an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center in Amercia, warned parents about using the inflatable floats. She explained: "Neck floats for babies scare me to death, and I hope they scare parents.

"These are potential death traps ... To have your precious baby one poorly sealed seam away from going under at the pool is frightening."
