Sam Faiers has slammed claims that she's fasting

Former TOWIE star Sam Faiers has denied she's fasting to lose weight after welcoming her second child.

Last year the reality star, who is already a mum to two-year-old Paul, gave birth to her beautiful baby girl Rosie in November. While it appears that she's lost all her baby weight, she's now spoken out and revealed that she's planning on losing the excess weight by trying the 5:2 diet.

While it's believed that on the 5:2 diet you eat normally for five days and then on the other two days you fast, the yummy mummy has reassured fans that she will not be fasting but instead she'll juice for two days.

The mum-of-two who is currently in Dubai with her boyfriend Paul Knightley and their two children posted a photo of her detox drink. Alongside her Instagram snap, she wrote: "I know I’m a bit late on the detoxing/fitness/diet craze. But I’m starting today 🙌🏻👊🏻 after second baby it seems to be harder to shift the excess weight.

"To be fair I have been eating what I want & only minimal exercise. I am going to try a 5:2 diet 2 days juicing (NOT fasting) & 5 days eating super healthy."

She continued: "I have heard really good things about it. And it’s totally healthy for us breastfeeding mums.

"I will keep you all posted on how it’s going. #summerbody #mummyfitness #detox #mymummyfitnessplan 👊 "

Sam made it clear to her followers on her Instagram Story that she's juicing, she wrote: "I'm NOT fasting for 2 days, I'm going to JUICE for 2 days and eat super healthy for 5... ✌️ it is completely safe and really healthy x"

Sam's confession about her diet plan came shortly before she's shared the CUTEST photo of baby Rosie looking snug in her pink dressing gown. She wrote alongside the picture: "Good morning from Dubai ☺️our little Rosie is getting chunky. I love it when they start to get rolls 😍 (pics taken on iPhone X) #babygirl #mylitleprincess 💕"

In the past the former TOWIE star has been very open about breastfeeding her little ones; she was recently praised for posting a belfie and has fed baby Paul live on This Morning.
