Convicted paedophile and child sex abuser Rolf Harris has now been released from HMP Stafford Prison
Rolf Harris has been released from prison and is now back at his home in Berkshire.
After serving less than three years in prison for 12 counts of sexual assault on teenage girls between the ages of just eight and 19, he is now back at his £5 million mansion.
Despite reports only last week that the earliest he would be released was June, Judge Deborah Taylor yesterday granted Mr Harris bail.
Whilst the convicted paedophile served just half of the five-year and nine-month sentence he was handed in 2014, he has been released - despite being in the middle of yet another case.
The 87-year-old is facing four more charges of indecent assault against three teenagers aged between 13 and 16 during the years 1971 and 1983.
He is due to stand trial again next week at Southwark Crown Court in London where he is pleading not guilty and will now have to stand trial in person.
Previously, he has appeared in court via video link.
The jury have been told that Harris has already been convicted and sentenced for other offences in 2014, having now served half of the sentence that he was handed then.
The trial, which began on 15 May, is not sitting today.
