Nadine Mulkerrin, who plays Cleo McQueen in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, took to Instagram to announce that she’s expecting her first child with co-star Rory Douglas-Speed.
The actress posted a sweet snap to her Instagram feed ahead of this weekend’s British Soap Awards to confirm she was five-months pregnant.
The star, who is engaged to partner and fellow Hollyoaks actor Rory, 27, shared a photo of herself and Rory all dressed up ready for the red carpet, while she cradled a visible baby bump.

The star later showed off her blossoming bump on the red carpet of the awards – which were hosted by Phillip Schofield last night (June 1) at Manchester’s The Lowry.
Taking to the red carpet, Nadine wore a semi-sheer shoulder-less floor-length gown by Nadine Merabi that accentuated her growing pregnancy tummy. The actress – who announced her engagement in December 2018 - shared a kiss with her husband to be on the red carpet as they celebrated the news.

Hollyoaks was named the Best Soap of the night, with Nadine later sharing another Instagram update to thank fans of the show, along with the cast and crew.
She shared another picture of her bump, writing, “SOAP AWARDS 2019.

“Being nominated & doing the carpet with my best friend, with our little peanut kicking inside, it was my favourite soap awards night to date! Even if I couldn’t down anything fizzy to celebrate our win!
