Caprice Bourret is known for being a world famous model, but the beautiful businesswoman has revealed that behind closed doors she has been dealing with a heart breaking brain tumour diagnosis.

Caprice, 45, was set to appear on The Jump earlier this year alongside reality TV stars such as Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews and The Only Way Is Essex's Lydia Bright, but was forced to pull out when she began feeling poorly.

At the time, her representative issued a statement saying that Caprice was cutting her time on the show short because she was unwell, but no further information was given.

Now, Caprice has bravely revealed that the reason behind her sudden departure was because doctors had found a brain tumour.

She told Hello! magazine: “I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I found out while I was competing on the show and boy, was it more horrific than any of the challenges.

“I had headaches that were not going away and my vision was beginning to act up so the show’s production insisted I see their doctor.

“My first thought was for my two little boys. I’m their rock and keep my family together. It was the scariest moment I’ve ever experienced.”

Candice has two sons, Jett and Jax Bourret-Comfort, with her partner Ty Comfort. The couple had enlisted the help of a surrogate, and Caprice fell pregnant herself just a month later meaning that their sons were born within a month of each other.

According to reports, the tumour was the size of a thumb, and Caprice credits the show with “saving [her] life”.
