Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has finally spoken out about marrying her long-term partner, Jade Jones.
Emma, 41, and Jade, 38, have been together for nineteen years and fans were over the moon when they got engaged in 2011.
However, despite deciding to tie the knot six years ago, the couple have not made any wedding plans.
But in a recent interview, the mum-of-two opened up about the fact that they call each other ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ even though they haven’t officially walked down the aisle.
Talking to Fabulous magazine, Emma said: “It would be nice, wouldn’t it? Part of me really wants to organise something.
“There aren’t any plans for a wedding, but we do talk about it,” she added.
“I think because both of us are Aquarius we try and live for the moment, so don’t plan things too far ahead.”
Emma and Jade are parents to nine-year-old Beau and five-year-old Tate. She credited their lasting relationship to being able to be friends as well as a couple.
“Jade is incredible. We get on so well and we’re great friends. I think respecting each other is a big factor, along with making each other laugh.
“We also take time out to have dates – although not as often as we would like to.”
It doesn’t matter when you decide to tie the knot, Emma – it sounds like you’ve found the secret to a long-lasting and happy relationship!
