Spice Girl Mel B and James Arthur reportedly "had a wild fling" when the X Factor winner met Scary Spice, after meeting on America's Got Talent.
Mel was a judge on the variety competition at the time and the pair reportedly got on like a house on fire.
A source told The Sun, “Mel met James soon after her marriage ended while she was working in LA on America’s Got Talent.
“They were brought together by Simon Cowell who secured James an opportunity to perform on the show."

The X Factor star's latest romance rumours comes after he allegedly dated Rita Ora and "got close" to Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson at the Brit Awards this February.
However, James was quick to fire back and shut down the story out of respect for Jesy's boyfriend Chris Hughes.

James took to Twitter to write, "Firstly we were not kissing we were talking closely because it was loud as f--- in a club, have you ever tried having a conversation when there's loud music, you gotta be tactile.
"Sad state of a affairs when a guy and a girl can’t sit and chat without being romantically involved."
The Middlesbrough born singer added, "What kind of a person sneaks pics of people sitting and chatting at a party. Scruffy that."
