After being known as Cheryl Cole, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and just Cheryl, Liam Payne has now revealed that Cheryl has officially reclaimed her maiden name Tweedy.

Phew, we all finally know what to call her!

Liam – who released his brand new single Strip that Down on Friday– cleared up all the surname confusion during an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra.

After presenter Dot asked him if he ever gets annoyed when people refer to Cheryl as 'Cheryl Fernandez-Versini' he replied: "Her name is officially Cheryl Tweedy now, but to be honest it doesn’t really bother me.

"We have a kid together, there’s a lot more to our life."

Very true.

And after rumours that Liam had married Cheryl in a secret ceremony and casually referring to Cheryl as his WIFE in a interview with American radio show SiriusXM, Liam has now confirmed that marriage isn't on the cards for the couple just yet.

He told The Sun: "I see marriage as more of a religious thing and I'm not really a religious person, so I know it's not really on the cards for me at the moment.

"So no, not yet. We have a baby together - you know our love for each other can't be more serious so it is what it is, I guess.”

Liam has been very busy clearing up a lot of rumours whilst doing the promo rounds for his new album.
