Earlier this month One Direction star Liam Payne and Cheryl revealed they named their first child together Bear Payne.
At the time a source, close to the couple, said: "Liam and Cheryl couldn't decide on a name for ages and kept to-ing and froing between options.
"But they both loved Bear and settle on it a few days ago. Despite the sleepless nights, the couple are smitten with little Bear," they told The Sun.
But now the 23-year-old popstar has admitted that it was actually Chezza who decided on the name for their little one and the reason behind it.
According to The Sun, during a recent interview in the US, he explained that he isn't one to choose an unusual baby name: "I'm into more traditional names, the Mrs… she's more into more unique, original names that people will remember.
"It was her choice. I wasn't going to fight her about it, she's the one who's done all the work, isn't she?"
Err, what happened to Alfie then?
A few years ago, Chez made it clear that she's fond of the name Alfie for a little boy...
Baby Bear is pretty cute though.
The former boyband member also revealed Bear reached a huge milestone recently – he smiled at his dad for the first time.
"We’re always Facetiming and the other day he smiled at me for the first time, it was so special. I just want to spend every moment with him but she [Cheryl] is so great, she does everyone on her own, she's been amazing."

In America, they recently celebrated Mother's Day and Liam dedicated an Instagram post to Chezza and his mother. He wrote: "Happy Mother's Day America and to my two very special ladies mum and Cheryl. I love you both very much."
This isn’t the first time the singer has publically dedicated Mother's Day to his girlfriend. The popstar couple celebrated the day earlier this year by announcing they had welcomed their son.
