The Strictly curse is real - especially if the latest couple to be falling victim are anything to go by.
Kevin and Karen Clifton, who tied the knot in 2015, are reported to be having marriage problems and those close to the couple are concerned for their future together.
Speaking to The Sun, a show source said, “Kevin has spoken to some of those close to him and admitted things aren’t going well between them at the minute.”
The news comes after Kevin admitted their hectic schedules were playing havoc with their relationship.
Last night, he said, “Strictly’s a hard few weeks for everyone and Karen and I have found this year’s particularly hard as we have been in different places since the start — with her in Manchester and now London and me in Glasgow.
“I’d love to get as far as possible with Susan who’s been amazing, but I’m looking forward to getting home."
The pair met on the show, with Karen joining in 2012 and Kevin in 2013.
The pair have each been married to previous dance partners, but despite those relationships being short-lived, Kevin once claimed that this romance was the real thing.
"We had both made mistakes so when we got together we knew this had to be it, for real," he said. "There won’t be a Strictly curse for us. This is it."
