Katie Price has revealed she ditched her real name at the age of 17 before starting her career as a glamour model.
Although she’s been known as Katie for most of her career, the Page 3 star-turned-reality TV personality was actually given a different name at birth by her mum Amy.
As well as her Greek first name, Katie also has three middle names, but the mum-of-five has admitted she “hates” her original moniker.
“I hated mine, I was born Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield,” Katie explained to The Sun.
“I don't know what my mum was thinking!”
Katie decided to drop her biological father Ray’s surname Infield after he left the family home when she was four years old. Her mum went on to marry Paul Price, with Katie later adopting his last name as her own.

When she began glamour modelling, Katie chose to use the name Jordan as it was catchier. She also hoped to protect her family by using an alter ego.
“My mum was working in the City. She didn’t want people to know I was her daughter,” Katie previously told The Telegraph.
But as she got older and left modelling behind, Katie rebranded herself once again to be known as her full name. She was also referred to as “the model formerly known as Jordan”.

Last week, Katie revealed that doctors have told her she will be disabled for life after breaking both her feet during an accident while on holiday in Turkey last year.
After relying on wheelchairs and a mobility scooter to get her out and about, Katie had hoped to be back on her feet within six months but admitted “the accident changed my life” after receiving bad news.
“I will never be the same, I’ve had to accept that, but I’m staying positive,” she said, “I’ve been given two sets of painkillers but I can’t take them because I’m scared of becoming addicted, so I’m just in constant pain.
“It feels like you’re being electrocuted — like shocks of lightning shooting up my feet all day," she told The Sun.
