Katie Price recently caused a stir after she said the N-word twice on This Morning.

The former glamour model appeared on the ITV programme to discuss her plans to make online bullying a criminal offence. The mum-of-five to Harvey, 14, Junior, 11, Princess, nine, Jett, three and Bunny, two, regularly receives disgusting messages from online trolls about her eldest son Harvey and she recently revealed one online troll made a fake sex video featuring her son.

The 14-year-old suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome (a rare genetic disorder that means he constantly feels hungry), autism, ADHD and has problems with his eyesight. Katie took it upon herself to create a petition to make online bulling a criminal offence. She has since received over 100,000 signatures which means her petition will now be considered for debate in the Houses of Parliament.

During her interview with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Katie was explaining the vile messages she sees about her son which include him being called a "Blind, black n-----", and a "Go----g"

The TV presenters agreed they were offensive and said: "Yes, it's deeply offensive, and people will be offended by the fact it's been said today."

However, later on in the interview the reality star repeated the racist word and said: "Calling my son a n----- isn't acceptable," which lead to Phil telling her off.

He firmly explained: "You don't need to say it again."

It appears that viewers were divided after Katie said the inappropriate word and This Morning presenters didn't apologise for the language used.

One person wrote: "There's Katie Price unsensored on TV, again! Good thing the kids are back to school this week then and don't hear the language! #ThisMorning"

Another wrote: "Jesussss Christ Katie price coming straight out with the N word on live tv atleast abbreviate it or something instead #ThisMorning"

Someone else said: "Cringing at the repetitive use of the N word on #ThisMorning it doesn't make your point any stronger"

Others commented:

Although some people defended Katie's use of words. One viewer wrote: "I'm glad she's shocking everybody! Imagine your child being on the receiving end of this abuse! It is disgusting #ThisMorning"

Another person said: "Don't normally stick up for KP but why not say N word if that's what they're calling him. Most parents would be protective #ThisMorning"

Someone else argued: "Harsh words from @MissKatiePrice on bullying but good on her for using her celebrity to speak out. Let's get bullying sorted #ThisMorning"

The mum-of-five has since defended her use of language. On Twitter she shared a video and explained: "I'm glad I've made headlines using that word because I want to get it out there that it's not acceptable.

"Just think about it, there's all people out there who have to put up with that kind of abuse because I'm in the public eye I can speak about it and it has got to stop."

A spokesperson for This Morning as since apologised for Katie's language, they told Metro: "Katie Price was a guest on This Morning today to talk about the online trolling her son Harvey has been subjected to and her campaign for online abuse to be treated as a criminal offence.

"During the interview she recounted some of the abusive language that has been used against him which included an offensive word. This Morning apologise to any viewers that were offended by this."

This isn't the first-time Katie Price's family have said something inappropriate on television. Last year when Katie and Harvey appeared on Loose Women viewers were shocked after he dropped the C-bomb.
