Jeremy McConnell recently said he would never drink alcohol again
It was only recently that Jeremy McConnell opened up in an emotional interview and admitted he's surprised he's still alive after the way he has partied and now it has been reported that he slept on a bench.
Earlier this month, Jeremy and Stephanie Davis appeared to be in a happy relationship. However, after reports that the pair had a "blazing row" which led to the Irish model fleeing to Ireland, Jez slammed the mother of his child as "manipulative as f—k".
Steph then responded to his claims by liking a cryptic tweet which suggested he posted an inappropriate video of her on social media. However, it seemed that things were good again between the reality stars after they were spotted together leaving a hotel in London.
It didn't last long though because earlier this week Jeremy attended Sixty6 Magazine's launch party where his representatives allegedly escorted him out but an hour later he returned to the club. People inside the club spoke to The Sun and revealed the 27-year-old "knocked back a lot of booze" throughout the night.
They added: "It’s sad really because most of the people around knew he was clean and had been trying to stay sober.
"But it seemed nothing would stop him having a few drinks."
Now onlookers have revealed they saw Jeremy sleeping on a public bench after attending the event and in a picture obtained by the Daily Mail you can see Jez's slumped body. A source told the publication that Jeremy's friends are worried the dad-of-one is in "self-destruct mode". They went on to explain how worried his close friend are: "[They're] begging him to seek help and return to rehab."
Jeremy's representatives have responded to the reports and said: "We will not be commenting on Jeremy’s illness.
"His well-being is our main concern. We are working with the relevant professionals to provide him with all the support he needs," they told The Sun.
This comes after Jeremy - who is dad to six-month-old Caben-Albi with Steph - revealed in an emotional interview that he has vowed to stop drinking alcohol after relapsing earlier this month. He explained: "My dad used to say to me, 'where there’s drink there’s trouble. You might have a good night, but there is a bad one waiting around the corner'.
"Alcohol just doesn’t agree with me, I don’t need it. My personality and charisma without it are good. All I want to do is be a family man and provide for my family, and leave that party boy behind.
"I want to be a father figure, and be a dad."
