Hollyoaks bosses have confirmed that Colin Parry, who played evil Mark Gibbs, is returning to the Oaks 16 years later
We've already got a few villains in Hollyoaks; DC Armstrong, Ryan Knight (who was revealed revealed as Amy Barnes' murderer) and James Nightingale.
Now, bosses of the Channel 4 soap have now confirmed that an old villain Is returning to the show - Mark Gibbs. If you watched Hollyoaks back in the day (2000 to be precise) you'll remember the heartbreaking rape storyline that involved Luke Morgan.

It all began after Luke tackled Mark Gibbs during a school football match, ruining his chance of a professional football career Mark and his friend started to bully Luke.
Things took a horrific turn when Luke stood up to his school bully but Mark got annoyed and not only beat him up, but he went on to rape him. Luke kept the ordeal to himself and after splitting with his girlfriend Mandy Richardson he became depressed and attempted suicide.
After opening up to his family, with their support he reported Mark and his friends to the police and they are all later sentenced and sent to prison. Since then, Luke has attempted to move on with his life but viewers are aware that the incident still affects him as he has now turned to alcohol.
Now, it has been confirmed that Colin Parry, who played Mark, will return to the Oaks at the end of this year to reprise his role. Hollyoaks' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood admitted that when one of the writers first brought the idea of Mark's return to the table, "you could cut the atmosphere in the room with a knife."
Bryan continued to reveal to Digital Spy that Mark will be returning to the village later this year, he went on to say: "He was punished at the time, but he now looks like he's got a lovely, charmed life.
"To Luke, who is still devastated and drinking himself into a stupor every night, that's a bitter pill to swallow.
"They're really heavyweight performances and episodes. It's thrilling to be able to revisit the past in order to motivate Luke's future."
