Helen Wood has said she regrets comments she’s made previously about Coleen Rooney as she shared awkward details of a run-in last year.
The former escort rose to prominence after footballer Wayne Rooney paid her and another woman, Jenny Thompson, for a threesome in 2009.
Since then she’s appeared on a number of reality shows, including winning Big Brother in 2014, and has recently written a tell-all book about her affair with Wayne, in it admitting that she ran into him and Coleen at a nightclub in Manchester in 2018.
“When I was out in a bar in Manchester about a year ago, both Coleen and Wayne walked into the bar,” she writes in her memoir, A Man’s World.

She added, “And I would have done if I'd slept with him and purposely stitched him up, but that wasn't the case, so I'd done nothing wrong.
"I avoided them, but on the way out we went to the toilet, he was looking at a menu, and he clocked me walking past straightaway. I left immediately after that and have never seen him since."

The Rooneys are appparently currently in the process of moving back to the UK after a string of difficulties during Wayne’s time playing for DC United, including an arrest for public intoxication and a 10-hour booze sesh with a Florida barmaid.
But Helen is remorseful for comments about their marriage she’s made in the past.
“When it comes to Coleen, I've said some pretty shit things in interviews about her, when I've felt angry and bitter,” she wrote. "Now I'm older, I realise the woman needs to be left alone, and I regret anything I've said along the lines of 'It's her own fault.'"
