True reality TV fans will know that it was actually TOWIE, not Love Island, that first introduced us to the legend that is Georgia Harrison long before she appeared on All Stars or even Love Island 2017.
During her time on TOWIE, Georgia was firm friends with co-star Fran Parman, who dated James ‘Diags’ Bennewith on the show, and their friendship continued after they both waved goodbye to the ITVBe show. However, back in 2021, rumours quickly began spreading that Georgia and Fran were no longer friends after the Islander opened up about being “excluded” by a close pal in a TikTok video.
Although Georgia has never confirmed that the video was about Fran, she recently spoke out about their friendship for the first time in a long while during an appearance on Olivia Attwood’s So Wrong It’s Right podcast.
In one of her first big interviews since leaving the All Stars villa, Georgia gave Fran a rare mention when she opened up about lying to a friend.
While discussing whether it’s okay to tell your mate they look good when they don’t, Olivia said, “When I think of that, I think of Fran in Marbella and those wedges.
“She had those midi wedges on and she sent us [a message] a year later and she went, ‘I can’t believe you all let me leave the house in those wedges.”
Georgia added, “Look, it's wrong. It's wrong. Unless they can't change it. So like, if we're in the house, and my mate's dressed, and she looks like an idiot, I'd be like, babe, why don't you try something else, right? Not the best. So, I'm not gonna meet her in a club and be like, ‘Oh, you look like sh*t. Your dress looks sh*t.’
“Well, she's in now. She looks sh*t now. She's gonna look sh*t for the rest of the night, now she's gonna know it. Like, you have to adjust.”
Georgia first sparked speculation she'd fallen out with Fran when she revealed one of her closest pals blocked her on social media and “excluded” her from their friendship group.
In a candid video, Georgia explained, “My best friend blocked me on everything out of the blue… TikTok, WhatsApp, Instagram, even my number, with no explanation. [She] left the girls group and made one without me in it.
“I never thought at 26 I would feel like I did in school again…It’s been so sad to be excluded and no I don’t deserve it.”
The reality veteran urged fans, “Please for me guys, always be kind, you never know what someone is going through or how your actions can affect them they’re down.”
An emotional Georgia can be seen lying in bed in the video, which she uploaded with the caption, “Be kind, every action has a reaction.”
Although Georgia didn’t name the friend in question, fans began speculating about their identity and quickly worked that it could be her former co-star and long-time BFF Fran after noticing that they no longer follow each other on Instagram.
“Hope it’s not Fran :(,” wrote one of Georgia’s followers, to which another replied, “Think it is – no longer following each other on Insta x.”
A third commented, “This 1000% Fran Parman! Absolutely something she would do me thinks.”
“This screams Fran to me. God removes the bad people from your life hun because he heard conversations you didn’t xx,” said one more.
