Revealing her sensational curves in a series of sexy lingerie, TOWIE's Gemma Collins sent pulses racing last week – even biting into a pink thong as she encouraged fans to turn up the heat this Valentine’s Day.
And insiders say that her hot new look is part of her bid to sex up 2023 and make it the year that she finally welcomes a baby of her own with fiancé Rami Hawash – even having sex four times a day to make her dream come true.
Broody Gemma, 42, has long been open about her desperation for a baby and recently told her 2.2m Instagram followers just how much she’s loved being stepmum to her five-year-old stepson Tristan, gushing on his birthday, “The most magical gift, TRISTAN… I love you so much, you make my life happier beyond all the stars in the sky. I’m so lucky to have you in my life.”
Now pals reveal that the former TOWIE star is spicing things up between her and Rami. “Gemma has confessed that she really feels like it’s now or never to start a family of her own,” the source tells Closer. “She’d always thought she would have had a baby by now. She absolutely loves being a stepmother to Tristan and totally dotes on him, but she’d still love one of her own, too. It’s always been her dream.”
Gemma – who got back together with businessman Rami, 49, in October 2020, seven years after breaking off their first engagement – has long been open about wanting to become a mum, saying last year, “I want the cat, I want the dog, I want my child. I will hopefully be the best mum on earth.”
And our insiders says she feels now is finally her time. “She’s prepped her body for it, she’s lost a little more weight recently and has been living a healthier lifestyle, which really shows. She’s glowing!
“She’s never lacked confidence in the bedroom, but says at the moment she feels like total dynamite. She joked that she’s having sex four times a day and her friends believe her – she looks like she’s having the time of her life lately!
“If she holds off any longer, she does worry about being an older mum – she wants to be active and around for her child for as long as possible. She feels as though there’s a lot to weigh up and she doesn’t want to be selfish about it, or be judged by everyone if she does end up having a child a lot later in life.”
Gemma found happiness with Rami after an infamously toxic romance with James “Arg” Argent, 35 – who last week had surgery to remove excess skin after losing a whopping 14st. The couple dated on and off for eight years, during which time Gemma tragically suffered three miscarriages.
She’s previously spoken out about her fertility struggles and plans to potentially adopt or undergo IVF, but insiders say she’s now keen to try all she can to go down the “natural” route.
The source adds that Rami is being “incredibly supportive” and just wants the best for Gem. “He’s said they can try their best, and then consider other options if it comes to it. She’s really grateful and is trying to put a positive spin on it all by being happy for what she does have in life.
“Sometimes she gets really low about not making it happen sooner. But on her good days, she’s determined not to let any of it get her down and wants to be able to make peace with the outcome, whatever that may be.”
