There’s another successful dating show couple to announce they’re having a baby
With Love Island in full swing, we’ve found ourselves mourning the demise of promising couples from season’s past.
But there’s a new duo joining the elite club of long-lasting romances along with the likes of Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen – and that’s Helen Briggs and Chet Johnson.

The couple reunited on the shores of Ex on the Beach in 2015, after initially ending their relationship when Helen moved to Ibiza and struggling to work long distance.
And since confirming they were back together in 2016, Helen and Chet have gone from strength to strength, confirming their pregnancy on Instagram last night.
They each shared a beautiful picture of themselves sitting on a bed flanked by balloons spelling out the word “Baby”, with Chet laying a protective hand on Helen’s blossoming baby bump.

This isn’t the only happy baby news in the Johnson family this year, with Chet’s brother Casey announcing his pregnancy with girlfriend Marnie Simpson back in April.
The genetically blessed couple recently threw a baby shower, leaving fans desperate to know the sex of their baby after confusing clues were scattered across social media – including both blue AND pink confetti– with some even speculating they're expecting twins.
